What can I say ? THIS MOVIE IS JUST "AS GOOD AS " CAN BE !!!!
As good as it gets, traces  the story of Melvin ,an arrogant, self-centered, superstitious writer whose life resembles hell. His makes fun of his neighbors, FANS…When he meets Carol (Helen Hunt), a waitress, his life MOVES UPSIDE DOWN. Series of actions, happenings and  Mishappenings will help him acquire "a place in the human race… "
Nicholson surpasses himself: it seems as if  the role has been WRITTEN  for him. Helen hunt is terrifically convincing. They both deserve the academy award they’ve won for the film.
The Script is magically written and especially well directed even though the movie moves sometimes slowly.
People who watch the movie thinking it’s some kind of comedy will be kind-of displeased as the movie is more drama-oriented and is far from being a comedy.
Overall, watching this movie is a wonderful experience and I strongly recommend it to you.

DVD REVIEW ()
Not-so-many features are  be inserted in the dvd : We can find a good audio commentary that will hook only movie addicts. There are  3 languages for audio and subtitles which makes it comfortable to watch the movie.
The DVD is not exellent and could’ve used more features.
